Welcome to Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox!

Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox is an application that allows you to update your navigation with the latest map updates available.
 

• To begin using the Toolbox, you need to synchronise a USB stick with your Media Nav Evolution or R-LINK2 Multimedia System. If you have a Media Nav Evolution Multimedia System, insert a USB stick in it. (For information on sychronizing with R-LINK2 devices, scroll down.)

Via the Home page of your Media Nav Evolution Multimedia System:

1. select "NAVI" menu
2. select "Map Update" menu (when necessary, access this menu selecting the right arrow from previous screen)
3. select "Options" menu
4. select "Update" on the pop-up
5. select "Yes" to start collecting device information on the USB stick

After end of file copy, insert your USB stick on your computer connected to the internet and launch Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox.

If you have an R-LINK2 device, insert the USB stick into the device and simply wait approx. 30 seconds. Afterwards, insert the USB stick onto your computer connected to the internet and launch Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox.

Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox will automatically detect your device.

You will need to synchronize the USB flash drive with the navigation system again in case the download and installing process was aborted. For detailed instructions, see the FAQ.
 

Make sure that:

• You have access to a reliable internet connection throughout the entire update process.
• Your USB flash drive is connected throughout the entire update process.
• Latest versions of macOS require the user to allow Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox permission to access removable volumes.
• At the first use of the application on macOS versions 10.15 or higher, allow the Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox to access files on your data carrier/device drive by clicking 'OK' on the prompted window. Without doing so You may be unable to access files from external drives and use the Renault Media Nav Evolution and R-LINK2 Toolbox as intended. If you chose 'Don't Allow' or ignored the prompt, You can also retrospectively adjust your settings to allow access by setting it in Security and Privacy Settings.
